Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) is a hardware-based system that reduces image blur caused by camera movement and vibration. It uses sensors and actuators to move the lens in the opposite direction of the motion, keeping the image steady on the sensor during exposure. Unlike EIS, OIS corrects movement before the image is captured, helping preserve sharp details without digital cropping.
