Vadzo Armor-830CRS-FPD4 is an advanced 4K HDR SerDes camera based on Onsemi Hyperlux™ LP AR0830 product family sensor with On-board high-performance ISP, featuring Wake-on-Motion, Super low-power mode, Line interleaved HDR (LI-HDR) and enhanced Dynamic Range (eDR) modes. The camera also supports FPD-Link IV for long-distance, high-speed data transmission, making it ideal for applications that require stable, high-quality video over extended cable lengths. The camera includes a Wake-on-Motion feature, allowing the sensor to remain in a super low-power mode (SLP) until motion is detected. Applicable in use cases such as Videoconferencing Cameras, Machine Vision Cameras, Wearable Cameras, Retail In-store Cameras, Facial Recognition Cameras, etc.

What is the maximum resolution the camera can support?
The camera can support a maximum resolution of 8MP.
What are the video formats supported by the camera?
Yes. Our camera samples are shipped with our default M12/S-Mount lens that supports field of view of 74DFOV. For volume procurement, our sales team can assist you with the purchase with lens or without lens.
What are the image formats supported by the camera?
The camera supports image capture in BMP format.
Does the camera come with lens?
Yes. Our camera samples are shipped with our default M12/S-Mount lens that supports field of view of 74DFOV. For volume procurement, our sales team can assist you with the purchase with lens or without lens.
Can I replace the lens with any lens of my choice?
Yes. The camera comes with a standard M12/S-Mount Lens Holder. You shall be able to integrate any S-Mount lens of your choice. However, you need to consider the compatibility in terms of image sensor format and FOV. There are cases where your lens might require additional LSC Corrections or Vignetting Corrections. In such cases, feel free to reach Vadzo Support Team.
How to power up the camera?
The camera supports power over coax cable that enables you to carry data and power over the single cable.
What is the maximum cable length supported?
Vadzo has tested the camera upto a cable length of 15m. You have option to procure the sample with cable options such as 1m, 3m and 15m.
Does the camera support LED Flicker Mitigation?
No. The AR0821 sensor is a fully integrated SOC that supports features such as HDR upto 140+ dB.
