Vadzo's 5MP Global Shutter camera is powered by the Sony IMX568 CMOS sensor, part of Sony's fourth generation Pregius S sensor family built specifically for industrial and machine vision applications. The sensor's true global shutter architecture captures every pixel in the frame at the same instant, eliminating the motion skew and distortion that global shutter sensors introduce when imaging fast moving objects or vibrating machinery. With a native monochrome resolution of 5.1MP (2472 x 2064) on a 1/1.8" optical format and a 2.74 µm x 2.74 µm pixel pitch, the sensor delivers clean, high contrast imaging tuned for light sensitive inspection tasks.


The camera connects over a USB 3.2 Gen1 interface, delivering high bandwidth, plug and play video streaming to industrial PCs, embedded vision controllers, and edge computing platforms without the need for a separate frame grabber. Standard UVC compatibility allows the camera to be recognized natively on Windows and Linux systems, simplifying driver management across production environments. Built around an S-Mount (M12) lens interface, the camera supports a wide range of interchangeable optics, giving integrators the flexibility to match field of view and working distance to their specific inspection or guidance application.
