The Falcon-544MRH is a 5MP Rolling Shutter Autofocus MIPI CSI-2 Camera developed around the onsemi AR0544 Hyperlux™ LP image sensor. Designed for embedded vision applications, the camera supports videoconferencing, smart access, virtual & augmented reality, machine vision, retail analytics, and industrial inspection systems. The compact S-Mount (M12 standard) camera module features VCM-based autofocus with software-controlled focus adjustment, automatic exposure control, enhanced Dynamic Range (eDR) and line-interleaved HDR (LI-HDR) modes, Wake on Motion (WOM), and support for Windows, Linux, and Android (additional SDK required), with Y8 and Y12 video format, enabling high-resolution imaging across multiple deployment environments.

What is the maximum resolution the camera can support?
The Falcon-544MRH can support a maximum resolution of 5MP - 2592(H) x 1944(V) Pixels.
What are the video formats supported by the camera?
The camera supports Y8 & Y12 Video formats.
What are the image formats supported by the camera?
The camera supports image capture in BMP and JPEG formats.
Does the camera come with lens?
Yes. Our camera samples are shipped with our default M12/S-Mount lens that supports field of view of 74DFOV. For volume procurement, our sales team can assist you with the purchase with lens or without lens.
Can I replace the lens with any lens of my choice?
Yes. The camera comes with a standard VCM based Autofocus M12/S-Mount Lens Holder. You shall be able to integrate any S-Mount lens of your choice. However, you need to consider the compatibility in terms of image sensor format and FOV. There are cases where your lens might require additional LSC Corrections or Vignetting Corrections. In such cases, feel free to reach Vadzo Support Team.
Does the camera support HDR and motion detection?
Yes. The sensor provides enhanced Dynamic Range (eDR) and line‑interleaved HDR (LI‑HDR) modes for high‑contrast scenes.
Does the camera perform well in near‑infrared (NIR) lighting?
Yes. The 1.4 µm BSI pixel technology delivers enhanced NIR response at 850 nm and 940 nm, enabling clear imaging in low‑light or IR‑illuminated environments.
What is Global Reset Release (GRR) and how does it benefit multi‑camera setups?
GRR allows the sensor to reset all pixels simultaneously while keeping a rolling shutter readout. This enables external trigger synchronization for multi‑camera or strobe‑lit applications without needing a global shutter sensor.
Would Vadzo provide SDKs to access non-UVC features?
The Falcon-544MRH is UVC‑compliant and works plug‑and‑play on Windows, Linux, and Android. We recommend using the VadzoARC application (available for all three platforms) for testing and configuration.
Are there any Minimum Order Quantities for the camera?
No. There are no MOQ restrictions. Our sales team can help you with the purchase process for any volume that suits you.
