Description :
The Vadzo InnoWave-235CGS is a 2.3MP global shutter Dual-Interface camera built on the onsemi AR0235 sensor from the Hyperlux™ SG family. Its global shutter design captures the entire frame in a single instant, eliminating the motion blur and distortion seen in fast-moving scenes, at up to 60 fps. The camera supports both wired GigE and wireless Wi-Fi connectivity, with a built-in chip antenna for the wireless link. GigE delivers robust, low-latency, high-bandwidth transmission over long cable runs, while Wi-Fi enables cable-free deployment in constrained environments such as robotic arms with rotating joints. Seamless switching and fallback between the two ensure uninterrupted video continuity, with GigE as the default when both are connected.
Core Benefits:
2.3MP onsemi AR0235 sensor from the Hyperlux™ SG family

What sensor powers the InnoWave-235CGS?
The onsemi AR0235, a 2.3MP 1/2.8" global shutter CMOS sensor from onsemi's Hyperlux™ SG family.
What are the video formats supported by the camera?
Yes. Both a GigE port and a Wi-Fi module (via a built-in chip antenna) are integrated onto the camera assembly, with seamless switching and fallback between them, and GigE as the default when both are connected.
What is a global shutter, and why does it matter here?
A global shutter exposes the entire frame at one instant, eliminating the motion blur and skew distortion that affect fast-moving subjects on rolling-shutter cameras, useful for scanning, robotics, and any high-speed motion.
What is the maximum frame rate this camera can capture?
Up to 60 fps at full HD resolution, per the AR0235 sensor's rated performance.
Does this camera support HDR?
No. The AR0235 is a global shutter sensor optimized for high-speed, distortion-free capture rather than embedded HDR. For HDR-focused applications, see the InnoWave-821 CRE.
Does the camera support GPIO for external triggering?
Yes, a GPIO connector is available for external trigger and synchronization usecases.
Can I replace the lens on this camera?
Yes, the camera uses a standard S-Mount (M12) lens holder. Lens changes may require additional tuning such as LSC or vignetting correction; contact Vadzo Support for guidance.
Can multiple InnoWave-235CGS cameras run on the same network?
Yes, each camera operates as an independent network device over GigE or Wi-Fi and integrates into standard NVR/VMS systems.
