Description :
The Vadzo InnoWave-900MGS is a 3.2MP monochrome global shutter camera built on the Sony Pregius S™ IMX900 CMOS sensor, engineered for high-speed, distortion-free imaging. Its global shutter with variable charge-integration time captures the entire frame at one instant, eliminating motion blur in fast-moving scenes. The sensor's native 2064 × 1552 active array supports multiple readout modes, including subsampling, 2x2 averaging, and Region of Interest (ROI) capture, allowing flexibility across resolution and speed depending on the application. The camera supports both wired GigE and wireless Dual Band Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac) connectivity, with seamless switching and fallback between the two, and GigE operating as the default when both are connected. Power is delivered via PoE (802.3af). S-Mount (M12) optics with a 74° DFOV round out a compact, rugged design suited to industrial and machine vision environments.

Does this camera support H.264 and H.265 encoding?
Yes. Choose H.265 for lower bandwidth use at the same quality, or H.264 for broader compatibility with existing NVR/VMS software.
What are the video formats supported by the camera?
Global shutter. It captures the entire frame in a single instant, eliminating the motion skew and distortion that rolling shutter cameras introduce on fast-moving subjects.
Can this camera be triggered externally via GPIO?
Yes, a GPIO port supports external trigger input, letting the camera be synced with sensors, PLCs, or other equipment.
Does this camera support interchangeable S-Mount lenses?
Yes, it uses a standard S-Mount (M12) lens holder, so lenses can be swapped to match FOV requirements. Lens changes may need LSC or vignetting correction; contact Vadzo Support for guidance.
Can multiple units be deployed on the same network without conflict?
Yes, each camera operates as an independent network device over GigE or Wi-Fi and integrates with standard NVR/VMS systems.
What happens to the video feed if the GigE connection is lost?
The camera falls back to Wi-Fi automatically, maintaining stream continuity without manual intervention.
Does the camera support onboard/local recording via SD card?
Yes, a built-in SD card slot provides local storage, ensuring footage isn't lost during a network outage.
Does this camera support NTP time synchronization?
Yes, NTP keeps timestamps aligned across multiple cameras on the same network, useful for correlating footage in multi-camera deployments.
Does this camera support PTP (IEEE 1588) for frame-accurate sync?
Yes, PTP is supported for tighter, frame-level synchronization across multiple cameras, more precise than NTP for time-critical multi-camera setups.
Is an IR-LED board available for low-light or night operation?
Yes, as a customizable option, extending usable imaging into low-light and near-dark conditions.
