Description :

The Vadzo InnoWave-544CRS is a 5MP color camera built on the onsemi AR0544 CMOS sensor from the Hyperlux™ LP family, engineered for high-quality imaging at industry-leading low power. Its 1.4µm stacked BSI pixel architecture delivers full HD-resolution capture at up to 30 fps in linear mode, with LI-HDR and enhanced Dynamic Range (eDR) modes available for high-contrast scenes. Enhanced NIR response at 850nm and 940nm extends usable performance beyond standard low-light conditions, while Wake on Motion and Super Low Power mode support efficient, always-ready operation at the edge. The camera combines wired GigE and wireless Dual Band Wi-Fi connectivity in a single unit, with seamless switching and fallback between the two, and GigE operating as the default when both are connected. Power is delivered via PoE (802.3af) over the GigE connection. S-Mount (M12) optics, GPIO for external triggering, an on-board SD card for local storage, and NTP sync round out a camera built for flexible, low-power network deployment.

FAQ Image

What are the video formats supported by the camera?

The InnoWave-544CRS supports H.264 and H.265 video formats, letting you balance streaming quality against bandwidth depending on your network setup.

What are the video formats supported by the camera?

LI-HDR (Line Interleaved HDR) reads alternating exposure lines within a single frame, which is what lets the InnoWave-544CRS hold detail in both bright and dark areas of the same scene, useful for entryways, loading docks, or any high-contrast setting.

Can I replace the lens on this camera?

Yes, the camera uses a standard S-Mount (M12) lens holder, so you can fit a different S-Mount lens to suit your installation. Lens changes may require additional tuning such as LSC or vignetting correction; contact Vadzo Support for guidance.

Can multiple InnoWave-544CRS cameras run on the same network?

Yes, each camera operates as an independent network device over GigE or Wi-Fi and integrates into standard NVR/VMS systems.

Does the camera work if only one network interface is connected?

Yes. Dual-Interface connectivity means the camera runs on either GigE or Wi-Fi independently, using seamless switching and fallback if both are connected and one drops, with GigE as the default.

Does the camera support an on-board SD card?

Yes, an on-board SD card provides local storage and retrieval of footage, giving the camera a fallback recording path independent of network connectivity.

What time sync does the camera support?

The camera supports NTP sync, keeping timestamps accurate and consistent across multiple cameras on the same network, useful for correlating footage in multi-camera deployments.

Why does this camera perform well in low light and NIR conditions?

Its 1.4µm BSI pixels and enhanced NIR response at 850nm and 940nm extend sensitivity beyond standard visible-light imaging, useful where IR illumination is present but visible light isn't.

How is the camera powered?

Via PoE (802.3af) over the GigE connection. Wi-Fi is used for connectivity, but the GigE cable must remain connected to supply power.

What is Wake on Motion, and how does it help?

Wake on Motion lets the sensor stay in a low-power standby state and only wake to full capture when it detects motion, useful for battery-powered or always-on deployments where continuous streaming isn't necessary.
