Falcon-821CRH is an 8.3MP color USB UVC camera based on the onsemi AR0821 CMOS sensor with 1/1.7” optical format and 2.1 µm Dual Conversion Gain (DR-Pix™) BSI pixel technology. The sensor supports 4K resolution (3840 × 2160) at 30 fps with embedded HDR performance exceeding 140 dB, enabling stable color imaging across high-contrast lighting conditions. Advanced sensor capabilities include in-pixel binning, windowing, flexible ROI, and eHDR reconstruct with adjustable exposure ratio control for optimized dynamic range and image clarity.

The camera uses an M12 VCM autofocus system with interchangeable M12 optics for software-controlled focus and flexible field-of-view configuration. USB 3.2 Gen 1 UVC interface provides plug-and-play operation on Windows and Linux platforms. Vadzo Arc enables quick camera setup, live preview, and basic UVC controls for rapid testing, while the VISPA Arc SDK provides advanced control over exposure, gain, HDR configuration, dynamic ROI streaming, and fail-safe firmware updates for application-specific camera tuning.
