AR0521 Color Low-Light Autofocus USB 3.2 Gen 1 Camera

Vadzo Falcon-521CRH is a 5.1MP HDR USB 3.2 Gen 1 camera powered by the onsemi AR0521, a 1/2.5″ CMOS sensor with 2592 × 1944 resolution, 2.2 µm BSI pixel technology, and full-resolution output at 60 fps. Back-side illuminated architecture maximises photon capture per pixel, delivering superior low-light sensitivity and stable colour reproduction across challenging illumination environments. A 1440p 16:9 crop mode provides a native widescreen output option for video-oriented deployments.

The M12 VCM autofocus module enables software-controlled focus adjustment via the VISPA Arc SDK, with a standard M12 (S-Mount) lens holder accepting any compatible M12 lens — giving integrators full control over field of view and working distance without hardware modification. On-chip integrated lens shading correction (LSC) compensates for vignetting and colour roll-off at the pixel level when lenses are swapped, significantly reducing per-lens recalibration overhead. Slave mode supports external framerate synchronisation for trigger-based or strobe-illuminated multi-camera setups.

The camera connects via USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C (UVC-compliant) — plug-and-play on Windows, Linux, and Android with no driver installation. The Vadzo Arc application enables quick configuration and testing, while the VISPA Arc SDK provides programmatic control over autofocus, exposure, gain, ROI, white balance, and GPIO.
