Which software should I use to test the Vadzo UVIGA 530-U3-MRS AR0522 USB3.0 camera?

This is a UVC compliant camera. You can use any off the shelf UVC camera application such as AMCAP or Windows camera viewer on Windows and GUVCView on Linux. You shall also get access to the VADZO360 camera application for testing the camera.

Can the Vadzo UVIGA 530-U3-MRS AR0522 USB3.0 camera be used for Linux based system?

Yes. This is a UVC compliant USB3.0 camera. It is plug and play with Linux systems. You can communicate with the camera via V4L2 drivers.

Can the Vadzo UVIGA 530-U3-MRS AR0522 USB3.0 camera be used for Android based system?

The camera can be integrated with an Android based system. However, it is not plug and play as it is in the case of Windows or Linux system. You shall have to develop the hardware abstraction layer to integrate the Android Application Layer. Vadzo shall be able to assist you with it.

Vadzo supports customizing the board to incorporate electronically controlled IR-cut filter-based lens holder. The filter can be toggled via software from the PC. Vadzo shall provide the control via HID pipeline.

Yes. The camera board comes with M12 (S Mount) lens holder irrespective of procurement in samples or in volumes. Should you want to use your lens holder, please get in touch with the Vadzo team to get the camera shipped without lens holder.

Yes. The camera board comes with M12 lens – FIA074 with 74DFOV when procured in samples. At volumes, it is optional. Customers can procure a different lens.

Does the Vadzo UVIGA 530-U3-MRS camera come with USB3.0 cable?

Yes. The camera, when procured as sample, comes with a 1m USB Type C to USB Type A Cable. At Volumes, we recommend the customer to directly procure the cable.

Does the Vadzo UVIGA 530-U3-MRS AR0522 USB3.0 camera come with the GPIO Mating board?

No. The GPIO connector used in the camera is 665306124022. You can wire to the connector for testing. In case, you need a mating board, you can use the 665006113322 connector to develop one. Should you want Vadzo’s support, please contact the Vadzo team.
