Which software should I use to test the Vadzo MVIGA 800-M4-CRS camera?

The camera module can be evaluated with Raspberry PI 4 Kit. Vadzo shall provide the sample application to test the camera module.

Yes. The camera can be used with a Linux based system. Vadzo shall be able to assist you with the driver development for the processor and OS combination.

Yes. The camera can be used with a Android based system, but is not plug and play as in the case of UVC cameras. Vadzo shall be able to assist you with the driver development for the processor and OS combination.

The camera supports external hardware trigger. Please check the camera datasheet for the pin-out details.

what is the Vadzo MVIGA 800-M4-CRS camera dimension?

This is a single board camera system with dimension of 38mmx38mm along with mouse bites to facilitate reducing the size to 32mm x 32mm.

The camera comes with provision for M2 screws. You shall be able to find the detailed drawing in the camera datasheet.

Yes. The camera comes with a status LED. The states you can find are Red which indicates the camera is powered on and Green which indicates that the camera is streaming.

The MIPI connector being used in the camera is XF3M(1)-1515-1B from Omron.

Can the Vadzo MVIGA 800-M4-CRS camera board form factor be changed?

Yes. Vadzo can customize the board to fit your mechanical design requirements.

Yes. Vadzo can work with you to understand your focusing requirement and support with lens sourcing, integration, focus fixing, and shipment. Vadzo uses grub screw to lock the focus.

Vadzo supports customizing the board to incorporate electronically controlled IR-cut filter-based lens holder. The filter can be toggled via software from the PC. Vadzo shall provide the control via HID pipeline.

Does the Vadzo MVIGA 800-M4-CRS camera come with lens holder?

Yes. The camera board comes with M12 (S Mount) lens holder irrespective of procurement in samples or in volumes. Should you want to use your lens holder, please get in touch with the Vadzo team to get the camera shipped without lens holder.

Yes. The camera board comes with M12 lens – FIA074 with 74DFOV when procured in samples. At volumes, it is optional. Customers can procure a different lens.

Yes. The camera, when procured as sample, comes with a FFC Cable (1mm pitch). At Volumes, we recommend the customer to directly procure the cable.

No. The external trigger pin can be found in the MIPI connector. Please refer to the camera datasheet.
